Pillows!

When our friend Jonny was packing up his California house in preparation for a move to Connecticut, he found a bag of old clothes in his garage. Slated for use as rags, the frayed jeans and stained shirts weren't worth taking across the country. Picking them over, though, it seemed that there was plenty of good fabric for a patchwork pillow. I arranged the patches so that the back side of the worn denim and canvas faces outward for a very soft touch.

Les Figues Table Linens: In Progress

The design we devised for the table linens for the winners of the Les Figues auction combines organic and graphic shapes and contrasts smooth, solid cotton with a more fibrous raw linen. We used large paper templates to cut the fabric appliques. More to come!

Wigutow Office: After

After adding some plants and throw pillows, straightening up the framed posters, and organizing the kitchen area, we declared the project a success! The three screen writers who work in this light-filled space are now much more inclined to use their newly tidy and comfortable common area to eat lunch, make coffee, read, and watch movies.
